As I transition…

Artwork by the Gotevi family from Ukraine, created in love for Proem Ministries

Dear friends,

As I transition and look into this Easter and spring season, I am glimpsing at rays of God’s presence moving deeper, casting light of hope on a way through life.

And although things in the world and in our lives still touch us with painful awareness, losses, uncertainties and fear, we are allowed, in this season especially, to walk in faith, catching glimpses of hope, trusting in God’s faithfulness and presence even when that presence may not be as obvious to us at the time or is not directly noticed.

On Thursday April 28, 2022 I will be departing from Cincinnati and flying to Warsaw, Poland to begin serving with Proem Ministries.

Proem continues to mobilize resources, assets, skills, and teams of volunteers in order to host, assist and integrate Ukrainian refugees—women and children who have fled war in their home country. For Proem Ministries, for me personally, and for all our friends and ministry partners, these are only beginning stages of work and service we are called to do, especially at this time at the Christian Center in Zakosciele, at the Proem Christian School in Tomaszow, at TOMY Church and in our communities in central Poland and beyond.

Thank you for all your prayers and financial support for the ministry I am about to begin. I am grateful for each of you, for your presence in my life, your deeply felt friendships, your generosity, and all the encouraging and kind words you have spoken or written to me.

Next time I will post, it will be from Poland. Please pray that God continues to reveal his ways in this world and in our lives. Please pray for my travel, for the safety of the refugees and for wisdom and resources for all of us in Proem Ministries as we help and serve in Poland.

Please pray for giving generosity to continue and make funding for my work with Proem Ministries in Poland to be sustainable in the upcoming years.

With much love & gratitude,

-dorota
